Set it up in 5 steps
- Plug the cradle's USB into the computer.
- Point the scanner at the QR on the cradle, pull the trigger.
- Print the config sheet, scan the QR at the top.
- Scan into a text box: you want |0123456789|.
- In POS › Transactions › New, click the cart area (not the search bar), then scan.

Every good scan comes out inside pipes, that's how Rundoo knows a scan is a scan and not typing. Bare number, no bars? Reprint the sheet and scan it again.
The one thing people miss: print the config sheet on paper. Scanning it off a screen reads unreliably and trips up more folks than anything else in the setup.
Practice away. This is your practice store, so scan a few things to get a feel for it. Scan the same item twice and the quantity climbs instead of adding a new line. None of it touches your real inventory.
