Getting Started with Rundoo · Setup

On Sale This Week

Build a sale once and the register rings it automatically, then puts prices back when it ends.

Build it in 5 steps

  1. POS > Products > Promotions > Add promotion
  2. Name it so it reads on reports and receipts
  3. Assign to: leave All customers
  4. Products and Pricing strategy: pick what is on sale and the discount
  5. Set the dates and Save. It rings automatically

Defaults

All customers · Today · All locations

Leave Expiration blank for open-ended. No Add promotion button? It is a staff permission an admin turns on.

Three ways to pick what is on sale

1

By rules

a whole vendor, category, or tag

e.g. 10% off Benjamin Moore

2

By product

a few named items

often a Dollar flat price

3

All products

a storewide sale

a tier-wide discount

Once saved, scope locks. You can change the name, discount, and dates, but not the products, customers, or locations. To change those, deactivate and build a new one. To end it, Deactivate or set Expiration to today, and prices snap back to normal.
