Price It Your Way
Set a product's price three ways, round it, and add a volume break. All on one product's Pricing tab, one item at a time.
Three ways to set a price

by dollar
You already know the shelf price.
Type it. $8.99

by margin
You price up from your cost.
Type a %, off Standard cost

by discount
You think in points off list.
Type a %, off Tier 1
Add a volume break in 3 steps
- On the product's Pricing tab, scroll to Alternate pricing.
- Click Add new alternate price. Set Quantity to the case size.
- Leave Discount, type the %, and Save. It rings at that quantity or more.
Two to remember
Breaks don't stack
Rundoo rings the single best break the quantity earns. And by margin needs a real Standard cost, or you'll see "inf margin."
Give a case a break the tidy way: add a quantity break in Alternate pricing instead of a separate case price. Your everyday unit pricing stays put, and the discount rings on its own.
